About us

Our team brings more than eighteen years of hands-on experience to agricultural, commercial and industrial work: poultry houses and dairy barns, grain systems, processing plants and the commercial buildings that sit between them.

What those have in common is that the power is not a convenience. Stop one of them for an afternoon and the loss is not the repair bill, it is whatever was inside the building at the time. That is the work the business was built around, and it is the reason the phone is answered at night and the crew keeps training.

Anatoly runs that crew and is usually the person who picks up.

Why people call us back

Grain storage bins served by Slon Electric
  • We know what a ventilation failure costs

Farm work is not a sideline here. When a controller drops out at two in the morning, the clock that matters is the one counting birds, not billable hours.

  • One crew, one person responsible

Anatoly quotes the job and his crew does it. Nothing gets handed to a subcontractor you have never met.

  • Rated 5.0 on Google

Generator work, panel upgrades and commercial wiring, reviewed by the people who paid for it.

  • Somebody answers at night

The phone is covered around the clock, every day of the year.

Counties we cover

Eight counties across south central Pennsylvania, on farms, in plants and in commercial buildings. The counties nearest us get same day service calls. The further ones get planned work, and we would rather say which is which than take a job we cannot reach in time.

Not sure whether you are in range? Call and ask. It is a short conversation and you get a straight answer rather than an optimistic one. (717) 821-9166

Common questions

Yes, and it is a large share of what we do. Ventilation and controller wiring, lighting programs, standby power, bulk tank and parlour circuits, grain dryers and bin fans, and the service entrance feeding the whole operation.
